Quilting Again

Been cleaning out my fabric stash and feeling like quilting again… yay!  It’s so great when you get to ‘shop in your own house’ to get inspired.  I immediately found inspiration in the many cool fabrics I had, of course, forgotten about.  So the first thing that jumped out at me was this partially used 10” layer cake along with 2 yds of cute/matching fabric designed by a Aneela Hoey for Moda Fabrics (aptly titled A Walk In The Woods).  I turned to my long favorite quilting tutorial teacher, Jenny at Missouri Star, looking for an easy peasy one to get me back into the groove.  I settled on the T-Block Quilt and quilted it using flannel because it’s easier to work with than batting.  I got carried away making the blocks and ended up with an extra set, so I just made a little pillow cover to go with it.

Next- a quilt made from miscellaneous/leftover precuts that were stuffed into a drawer.  Looking forward to using that drawer again! 👍
