Well, as you may already know (if you follow me anywhere!) the long-anticipated acceptance letters were sent Sunday from the folks at Indie Emporium 2014. I am happy to report that I made the show and am now getting revved up for some serious sewing around here. I did accomplish something during the ‘wait’ to hear what direction my holidays were going to take. I did this:
I figured that no matter what kind of show I did, I could/would use these for something. So, I made a LOT of them.
I kind of got addicted to making them for awhile. But, each crafter at this show donates some “swag” (i.e. gift) that is put into special bags for special people. Voila! I made enough to donate plus extras and I made special Tulsa History ones for my booth.
I want to give a shout-out to my first and only follower- Amy from Oh Hey! It’s Amy I haven’t figured out yet what I’m going to do for you Amy, but I’m going to do something to say ‘thanks’ for following me. Having been blessed over on my other blog (TulsaGal) with many followers, this has been a rather humbling experience over here! By the way, my husband and I met at OSU, both of our children graduated from OSU and we are big Cowboy fans as well. And I LOVE cardigan’s too!!
Well, that’s all for now.
One more thing: guess what I saw 2 feet away from me as I was opening my front door, coming home from lunch today.
I'm pretty sure my neighbors all heard me scream.
